I used to make Hip-Hop in the last millenium, now I mostly make stuff with synths, so here's my first go at combining both.
The original track was one of the first beats I ever produced (on my first ever PC, running Cubase VST on Windows 98). It eventually got released on the Delegates of Culture CD/Tape Headcleaners (2000).
On my 2023 remix I try to reimagine the backing track as a more dystopian Synthwave-type affair.
